Beirut-on-the-Hudson On Friday a car bomb exploded under New York's tallest buildings. More than 50,000 people were trapped. At least five were killed and more than a thousand hurt. Endless interviews on TV are trying to pin the guilt on potential terrorists. Again and again, Croats and Serbs, former Yugoslavians, are mentioned. Have you ever heard of a Croatian car bomb? I haven't. On the other hand, the world is already familiar with Arab car bombs - the kind that blew up the Israeli Embassy in Buenos Aires, the one the blew up the Marine barracks in Beirut, and countless others. Why are the media afraid to list Arabs as the prime suspects?

Authorities should concentrate on the Hamas terrorist organization, whose headquarters - as Israel has recently discovered - is located in the United States. Despite U.S. attempts to down-play that information, the FBI officers investigating the most recent car bomb should make them the obvious and logical suspects. Meanwhile, the majority of the world, led by Boutros-Ghali and the PLO, wants to dump these terrorists back in Israel…
